This site talks about money. I share revenue I’ve generated, businesses I’ve sold, and results my clients and students have achieved. All of it is real. None of it is a promise about what you will achieve. 

Business results depend overwhelmingly on factors I don’t control: your effort, skill, experience, market, timing, capital, and a healthy serve of luck.

Most people who buy business education or advice, from anyone, anywhere, get modest results or none, usually because implementation is hard and life gets in the way.

Please make decisions accordingly.

Nothing on jonwarren.me (this website), in Operator Notes, in our products, or in any coaching or advisory engagement is a promise, guarantee or projection of earnings, revenue, profit or business success.

Any figures we mention are illustrations of what specific people achieved in specific circumstances; they describe the past, not your future.

We cannot and do not guarantee that you will make any money at all, and it is possible to lose money in any business, including by acting on ideas discussed here.

About the numbers on this site

Where this site cites figures; such as revenue from businesses I’ve built and sold, revenue of companies I’ve co-founded, ad spend I’ve managed, or the combined revenue generated by clients and students, those figures are:

• Real and conservatively stated, based on records available to me at the time of publication;
• Aggregate or historical, reflecting many businesses over many years, not a typical or average outcome;
• Not independently audited, and in the case of client and student results, based on what those clients and students reported or what I could verify;
• Not typical. The clients and students whose results are featured are, by definition, among the more successful people I’ve worked with. Many students and clients achieve smaller results, and some achieve none.

They are selected examples, not a representative sample.

Your background, business, niche, market and work ethic differ from theirs, and your results will too.
