In 2014 I launched my first ecommerce business, Chic Chandeliers (it’s still online here), a high ticket dropshipping business.
Launching into a highly competitive market wasn’t the greatest idea… but hey, I didn’t know any better at the time.
It took a long period of failures, testing, mistakes but I found the right marketing mix to build that business into one that allowed me to quit my full time career and become a full time ecommerce entrepreneur.
Chic Chandeliers was the playground where I got to trial and error my way to my goal at the time (to replace my income).
Along the way I was even able to branch out from dropshipping to important a line of crystal chandeliers and lighting from Hong Kong under the brand’s name.
At the time I exited in early 2017, Chic Chandeliers had produced over $4M in revenue at a 20% margin.
It was my humble beginnings but…
